Nano 2014: Day 27

It's Thanksgiving here in the US, so I don't have too much time for writing. Like most of us Americans are doing today, I'll be spending the day with family stuffing myself on an enormous homecooked meal.

We're getting together pretty early (I've only got an hour before I leave, as I write this) which means that I'm likely done with my words for the day. I've written almost 2.5 already, which is less than I'd hoped for, but more than I'd expected. Spending some quality time with my family, though is enough to offset my word loss.

I won't be doing the whole Black Friday thing, because only insane people trample each other to get discounted goods. Depending on how discount--and how good--they are. Uh, I lost my train of thought there.

Anyway, I hope that all of you Americans reading this are having a lovely Turkey Day and that you have a lot to be thankful for this year. Non-Americans, I wish you the same. Even if you're not eating turkey today.
